There's an example configuration file "NetHack Defaults" in the './lib/nethackdir' subdirectory. Modify it to suit your playing tastes. The BeOS version supports all the features in the Windows version, except for music and sound (yet).

Important: You have to unzip the game on /boot/apps/ otherwise it won't work (or you will just have to edit the 'nethack' shell script to point to the installation path of your choice).
