Version 1.0.71 provides basic file services. It supports MIME-based typing and integration with the BeOS My Network application, also available on BeBits. This version was written on Red Hat Linux 6.1 and is known to work on that platform. Other Linux distributions may also support BeServed, although some manual steps may be necessary during the installation process.
