Fixed reported bug with JRE version 1.4 when starting up. If the old 1.2 hung during the startup screen, this should fix it.
I don't use 1.4 here (I had some graphics card related issues with it), and apparently none of my beta testers had it at the time 1.2 was in testing.
Special thanks to Nighthawk for helping me debug this one, since I couldn't reproduce it!

Fixed the time-stamp (accidently broke it in 1.1.1), and some minor enhancements.

Minor tweaks relating to Look and Feel settings, Pre 1.2 JREs (MacOS Classic) can now use the System Alert sound for sound events, and a few other small tweaks.
Upgrading is definately recommended for MacOS Classic and MacOS X users.

After over a month of not looking at the code I went back to it. The past week I've been re-working, re-writing, and implementing.
Oh, you want to know what's new? Ok, here's the list!
- Click-able http:// links that open in a new mini-browser window within JavaShare 2. The http viewer is a default renderer shipped by Sun, it's buggy, but it does get the job done.
- Leaner and meaner! Benchmarks showed the time it takes to display a message is now 100 - 300% faster! (That is
NOT a type-O)
- Chat font preference. You can now set the size, style, and font of the chat text.
- UTF-8 Encoding support! International and Unicode characters display and send accurately!
- MacOS versions now have the menu bar in the right spot!
- Improved keyboard shortcuts! More standard keystrokes are used, and MacOS now Uses the Command (Apple) Key.
- JavaShare 2 now remembers the size and position of the main window.
- UI Look and Feel settings now take place without the need for a restart.
- New JavaShare 2 Start-up Screen.
- A new message color parser that is faster, and more accurate.
- The user table no longer auto-sorts. It waits until you tell it to sort.
- Probably a few things I can't remember right now!
That should hold you over until the next release...
