Changes since 1.0 Beta 6 include many bug fixes for both functionality and stability. The most notable fixes/additions are the inclusion of full client reconnection support and the ability to create drop folders.
Also fixed a build issue that prevented the net_server build from working. My apologies to those who downloaded it.

Beta 3 adds AFP3.1 compliance (mostly) and now also includes a build for PPC. There are many bug fixes and feature enhancements since the last beta. Here's a more complete run-down of what's changed:
- Added support for AFP3.0 and AFP3.1 clients!
+ File/folder names can now be up to 256 characters in length
+ Can now read/write files larger than 4GB
+ Better compatibility with MacOS X and large volumes
- There is now a PowerPC build of afp_server!
- Improved dispatch routine for a little better performance. You'll notice this when copying many small files.
- The server can now handle filenames with a slash ('/') in them (legal on Mac, not on BeOS).
- Improved the performance of the desktop database.
- Bug fix: Stuffit files could not be expanded from AFP share.
- Many more bug fixes...

I know this is a quick turn around from Beta1, but I wanted to get some nasty bugs fixed and available to everyone. Specific changes listed below:
Version 1.0b2:
- Bug fix: Volume sizes were not reported correctly when above 4GB.
- Bug fix: Don't allow entire volumes to be shared anymore (sharing of root directory can't work).
- Bug fix: A read-only volume would not be reported as such.
- Bug fix: The proper max AFP request quantum size was not sent to client.
- Bug fix: Memory leak for idle connections
- Robustness: User will now be warned and sharing stopped of any share point being moved, renamed or deleted.
- Implemented the FPCreateID AFP call. Most likely never used by any client or app.
- Redesigned network code a little for better efficiency in send & recv paths
