Version 1.3.6
 License:   Freeware
 Updated:   September 5, 2005
 Source:   Source Not Available
- Added a "pause/resume" option, which is only accessible from the deskbar addon.
- It writes "keyframes" more often (actually, only the first frame was a keyframe before this version).
- Reworked some internals, should result in slightly better responsiveness and smoother recording.
- Improved a bit the deskbar addon

Bug fixes:
- The fake cursor wasn't drawn correctly (thanks to Stephan Assmus for bugging me about this)

Version 1.3.4
 License:   Freeware
 Updated:   August 31, 2005

Fixed the following bugs:
- BeScreenCapture would die if you quitted it while encoding a clip (a regression introduced in 1.3.2)
- BeScreenCapture would crash if you switched resolution while recording or encoding a clip.

Now the clip color depth is independent from the depth of the screen, so you can use most codecs (which usually only support 16 or 32 bit) with any screen configuration. (capturing a clip with the screen in 8 bit mode is obviously much faster than in 32).

Fixed many bugs, changed some parts of the GUI.
Now it saves some settings to disk.
And... it features a readme (very lame).

Unstable version.

-Added a deskbar addon to control the recording (very basic for now, just start/stop is supported), so that you can keep the application's window minimized while recording.
-Added nice icons for the application, kindly donated by Zumi (thanks!).
-Apparently fixed some bugs which leaded to corrupted videos.
-Fixed crash in case BDirectWindow mode was disabled.
-Other stuff that I can't remember now.

Version 1.2.9
 License:   BSD/MIT
 Updated:   April 1, 2005
 Source:   Source Available
Since it's been a while since I made the last release, I decided to publish another one, even if it doesn't contain any new feature (except that the cursor capturing is enabled by default), and it's not so complete as I wished. Though I rewrote some parts of the code and the app should be more robust in case of errors.

- You can now record as much as you want, as long as you have enough space on disk. Frames are, in fact, immediately stored on the hard drive.
- Mostly thanks to mmu_man, you can now resize the output video (i.e. you can grab the whole screen and build a 320x200 movie)
- Still no cursor (well, in fact, you can uncomment a line in the makefile and you'll get the mouse pointer, but it doesn't (yet) work if you also resize the movie).
- Code cleanups

-Resulting movies didn't look good in Videolan. It was my fault. Fixed.
-Better timing (i.e. if you select 10 fps, it should respect the setting)
-Different locking strategy
-Should be much more responsive

Should fix the problem experienced by Jess (it just recorded 2 seconds). Now, if a file already exists with the given name, it adds " 1" (" 2", " 3", etc.) to it.
Now with source code.
