Zeta version can start either windowed, or fullscreen from the Games menu.
For the BeOS R5 version you will need to start from terminal. Go to the directory /boot/apps/freedroidrpg/bin and run freedrd, or use freedroidRPG -n (full screen / No OpenGL) or freedroidRPG -n -w (Windowed / No OpenGL). You can try without the -n, but I don't think it will run. It is compiled with OpenGL support, but my video card doesn't support 3d Acceleration, so there is no way to test it.
