CMake 2.8.0 was released in November 2009. This version of CMake fixes many open issues and provides some exciting new features.
The official CMake GUI is now Qt-based, and is distributed with CMake on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX. The GUI provides for quick searching of CMake options, and the ability to have options with lists of defined options. The ccmake executable will still be available for command line use on supported systems.
(The GUI in Haiku is limited to a ternimal ncurses base menu.)

Here's the latest version of CMake. It's the first version that builds on haiku without patches. Built and published by scottmc of HaikuPorts. Kudos! He says there is still a minor issue where a test fails in the dashboard testing, for "external project". Enjoy!

Here's latest version of CMake - the first version that builds on haiku without patches. Built and published by scottmc of HaikuPorts. Thanks!
He says there are still a couple minor issues, one is a test that is failing in the dashboard testing, for "external project", the other is that during build of cmake it tries to install it into /usr/local, easy to work around.
