Smooth Scaling using Haiku app_server make icons look much better than the BeOS version.
Hacked away at yab-1.5 source code to get this to work (see my talkback comments and even fixed some bugs that only showed up on my BeDock code when running under Haiku).

Full Smooth-Scaling Support (this is a Haiku-only version).
NEW FEATURES:
1) Fully smooth-scaled icons ( I hope!)
2) New indicator under launch icon if Application is running (or if it's a folder then indicator will show if the folder is open in Tracker).
3) You can now have a background image instead of the transparent glass shelf (select the radio button "Use Picture for Glass Shelf" in the configuration tab). I have included "Leopard for kxDocker" (GPL) as the default background image. Please feel free to create new backgrounds and post them and / email them to me.
This includes a "Separator" image (Right-click on the icon afterwhich you want the separator icon to be displayed and and choose "Separator Put After me")
4) Auto-Raise feature

with the hey application installed and SpicyKeys you can now automatically activate the BeDock and pop-up the Start-Menu shelf (simulating the windows key in windows that brings up the start menu).
Add the following command as a New SpicyKey:
/boot/home/config/bin/hey BeDock Set the YabSendString
=opensesame

WARNING: if you try to change the Icon Size, the icons will try to be updated to the correct size, but this is not reliable yet, so please quit and restart for best results.
BeDock is beta quality and I have had times where it locks up and also locks up the Deskbar (you will have to manually kill the BeDock application in the Team Monitor ctrl-alt-del menu).
