It's still a Tracker add-on, but it relaunches itself stand-alone, which means that it will no longer take down Tracker if/when it crashes, as it does once in a while. No worries though. I've used it for years and years, and it's never hurt anyone. ;)
There's an experimental label indexing tool included, which I wrote a couple of years back. (in 1999?) Pretty cool. I had forgotten all about it. It's a bit raw. Just kill it if it won't quit.
