The goal of Rapture In Venice is to develop software for BeOS and just for BeOS. Software is built to take advantage of everything BeOS has to offer, from BAlert to Replicants.
My first offering to the community is NewsTicker. This app will "push" headlines from the web's most popular sites to your screen via a horizontally scrolling "ticker". Currently, we support 23 websites, with the added bonus of *easy expansion* so you can have whichever websites you want to have added done easily!
My second project, and just released, is Jabber for BeOS. It is a client for the Jabber server, a cross-chat-system IM vehicle.
