1,000 applications on BeBits! |

April 20, 2000:
Yippee! BeBits just got its 1000th application (Fido) submitted to the site. This is a major milestone for us, and one that we've been working towards a while. Many, many thanks go to all the developers and users who have supported us all the way here! We're still working feverishly on different parts of BeBits, and in the coming weeks we will be introducing improvements and features to make the site even better now that we're in the land of triple digits.
By the way, you may have noticed a big increase in the number of new applications coming onto BeBits lately. We've been working to "rescue" applications from BeWare, which will be closing at the end of the month, and we've been adding them to BeBits as the developers grant permission. Hopefully we will be able to get the majority of the listings from BeWare on the site by the end of the month.
Again, many thanks to all of you for helping us get this far! And, once again, be sure to contact us with any and all great ideas about how we can improve things.
