It's been a terribly long time since we've updated our news, so here's the latest on what's happening with BeBits. We're happy to report that the summer doldrums appear to be over, and hit rates are climbing back up again... we're looking forward to some great things during the remainder of the year!
The first bit of news is that both of us (Sean and Greg) have gone to England for a semester. This has made it a bit harder to respond to all the e-mail we get. However, we're still very much in control of the site, and we'll respond to questions and concerns as fast as we can. We'll also continue working on BeBits; we've got a laptop set up exactly like Marvin, the BeBits server, which will let us improve and debug the site even while offline. So, rest assured that we're still very much on the job.
Having said that, there's a lot of fun stuff we're going to be doing while in Europe! Both of us will be at BeGeistert 005, and we'll look forward to meeting all the European BeOS users who will be attending. Also, if any of you live in a really exciting part of Europe, let us know and maybe we can drop by! (One more thing: we have not been able to find Mountain Dew anywhere in London! If you know where Dew can be obtained, in London or anywhere else in Europe, e-mail dewsightings@bebits.com and you may be handsomely rewarded. :-)
On to other topics... our e-commerce system has been doing quite well, and total sales are approaching US $4,000 (using the current exchange rate, that comes out to 2,853 GBP for you Brits!) Here's the latest list of our best-selling software:

BeXL is currently leading the pack by a huge margin, although there are several applications doing well. We hope to add some sales stats soon so you can see how things are going, up to the minute. Also, we're working on several enhancements to both the e-commerce system and to the rest of the site.
