Be Inc. IP sold to Palm, Inc. |

Well, it seems we finally know what was going on at Be all this time. The intellectual property of Be, Inc. was sold to Palm, Inc. for $11 million.
As of right now, no one we've talked to seems to knows if BeOS itself was part of the sold IP or not. If not, there is the possiblity that it could be sold to someone else and development restarted. But that's pure speculation at this point. In any case, BeBits will remain open until we can't afford it anymore. After all, just because the company might go away doesn't mean the OS stops working. :-)
