we have a dead link on this one nobody home, too badthis is one of the apps that shows off the power of replicants by enabling users to run a movie in a replicant on the desktop

Both the R4.5 version (PPC) and R5 one that I compiled behave as I described previously. The odd thing is that it ~will~ open and appears to operate correctly if I drop files on it.
I'm going to have to take a closer look at the code to see whether there was more of an interface intended. Maybe it was planned but didn't/hasn't happened?? Any Intel users experience the same thing?

I tried the R4.5 executable for PPC. It launches & closes with no errors. Thought a recompile might fix it. Nope. Hmmm... I would be interested to know if it works on R5 x86.
