ablyss, I've never experienced this problem here. Someone else mentioned that he sees this from time to time, but I hoped it might be a general problem, instead of one with this particular screen saver. So, now it seems to be confirmed that it's BrainWash's bad. Since I can't reproduce it, it would be great, if you could contact me via mail, so that I can send you a version that produces enough debug output to track the problem down. Thanks in advance.

Screen saver won't quit. Only thing that works is control-alt-del and even that takes serveral pushes and taps before it finially pulls up the Be Task manager which the last time I did it rebooted, but 1st time it locked up I was to kill the screensaver. ThisHappens everytime I leave the system running the screen saver for while.

Hope you can fix the problem so I can enjoy this kewl screensaver, until then I have to use another.

Perfect toy!

Problem with certain resolutions

First, this is one the coolest screen saver I ever saw.

But as usual, there are little problems: the code assumes that bytes_per_line=pixels_per_line*bytes_per_pixel. This is not always true because some graphics cards have stricter alignment restrictions. In this case, you get garbage on screen. Further, if you choose "use workspace resolution" the screen saver still changes resolution which makes trouble if your workspace uses an uncommon resolution like 1400x1050 or wide-screen mode as provided by some graphics drivers.

Any chance of a fix?
