Old and historically valuable applications like this on BeOS should be shared and cherised, not put in a locked closet in the basement of time. That is my opinion about these things. Yes, I did get on the BeOS bandwagon when it was dead, but it takes detecated users who are willing to participate in all aspects of the OS as well. Including sharing old fullversions of shareware that you can no longer buy.

Why would I want to share a piece of software I purchased back when the OS was living to support it? You come along after it's demise and want it all for free? You should have joined up to help support it from the get go. Too late now though, these apps aren't for sale. So you think I'm gonna image them and let you bum them off of me after I spend my time and money on them. Nope. I will enjoy owning these apps. Go ask someone else who may not care about it. It's not even the fact that they aren't for sale or that the copmany doesn't want them shared. It's spite and indignation.

I truly do enjoy my copy of Groovemaker. I do wish I had gotten more of the mix loops that were bundled with the big box at the time. It's just fun to use, not that I have ever been productive with it.

The IK apps are no longer available for BeOS, the links are all dead except for the BeOSarchives links for the Demos. You can't buy them if you like the demos and I've tried the demos and found them buggy. What's the point? It's almost offensive to me that stuff like this (and others) are still listed here when they are basically a tease and a joke.
