I have adden a new Download url. But you should really use VideoLAN client for MPEG playback. It's much better and GUI controlled.

At last, we can watch our MPEGs smoothly. I've loaded a 650 Megs MPEG from a CD, and it appeared almost immediately; the video plays nice, the sound and the pictures are totaly synchronized.
It's a shame that you have to launch it from the Terminal, though !
