Finally! A hex editor for BeOS. YARNTRTW! (Yet Another Reason Not To Reboot To Windows)
Functional yet pretty, HexJuggler fills a mighty big gap. It allows editing in place of the hex data, shows hex next to a string representation and all the "normal" features including searching for hex or strings.
Features missing include a fixed-length mode (at the moment editing is always in "insert" rather than "overwrite" mode), a case-sensitive search, editing the string display (you can only enter hex in this release) and a representation of the value of the byte/word/long at the cursor location.
All in all, compares very well with my Windows hex editor of choice, Hexpert (http://www.psn.net/~mwoolsey/hexpert.html). I'm a very happy bunny, but am hopeful of new features to fix the remaining niggles.
