the proportion of live/dead projects is more or less the same for all the OSes. There is a lot of dead projects for windows, for example...

BeOS will be alive while somebody can make use of it...

Yes. It happens when a platform gets abandoned by its creators. No hurt feelings.

I'm finding lots of dead projects out here... maybe this will change with the release of new BeOS stuff (Zeta and then, later, OBOS).

There are a lot of cool projects started and abandoned for BeOS. I hope that people get interest in them again some day...
