If you want to download large files, then recompile it. The source code is right there.

ludicrisly unstable when using BONE. Intermittent quits while downloading, innacurate downloading speeds when stopped then resumed, and no ability to have multiple download connections (aka split file into parts and download).

I need to add something I did not quite explain properly in my last comment. When I said that the download sound is triggered everytime I start BeGet, I should have added that the download sound does not play when the download is finished. I am just having an educated guess here that the reason it does not play when download is completed, is because the icon of the file type does not appear beside it's name, or it is something to do with the finised download filetype not yet registered.

BeBet is just what I was looking for to resume large downloads but there are some things that could be improved with it. It does not seem to show the data in the totol, average, and estimated columns. Also if I set in preferences for a sound to indicate when a download is finished, every time I start BeGet this sound is triggered. This would be a really great application if these things could be fixed.
