the Nvidia drivers are reported to work with up to a GeForce 3... but that driver was made for GeForce 2's & Tnt2's so why would a MX400 not work? ;) yes it will work on a MX get it use it but don;t love it. heh

Any chance this bad boy will work with an MX400 card?

Easy to install and works!

It was easy to install with the provided script and it works fine. My Graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 32MB. Until now I had been running color with Vesa Accepted.

Installed easily enough... but doesn't seem to work.

Installed easily. Perhaps I misread the support list: I have an nVidia GForce2 MX 4X AGP (w/tv). Doesn't seem to recognize my card at all. Also, I neglected to check /dev/graphics BEFORE I rebooted, but afterward I just get the stub... (which is probably to be expected if the card is still not recognized).

why the nvidia driver without 3D?

I have a NVIDIA Geforce2MX and initially Beos didn't recognize it. After installing this driver and rebooting, back to normal. Thanks.

I haven't had any problems at all with it. Screen looks beautiful at 1024x768x32. Quake2 runs great (software mode though - still haven't figured out OpenGL yet - newbie to BeOS since Jan 2001). I rated an 8 only because I have yet to try Qauke 2 in OpenGL mode still. When and if I get it figured out, I'll come back and rate it again! Also, avi/mpg movies run and look great too!

Wow, that was easy

being new new BeOS, this is the first (and only) unofficial driver that I have used successfully. Worked just like it was supposed to and the first time!

now if I could get that ess audio drive to work.....

Oh, how wondrous it is to change resolutions at 90Hz again! 3dfx, eat your heart out!

At last! Faster video with GeForce GTS! :-)

I tried the first version and it instantly helped:
movinf Windows over the screen is now almost silky smooth and the CPU is about 5-10%.

Before (with Vesa mode), the CPU was at 100% and the window moved in stripes.

Good work! For Christmas, I wish 3D support ... ;-]
