The link is down, and now I have one of these keyboards myself, I think having this app would be pretty useful for the 16 keys on my keyboard doing nothing...

when the FancyKeyboard app is running, pressing any of the multimedia keys, specifically ones that generate a VolumeUp or similar message, will cause my sound card (YMF-754) to stop working until i reinstall the driver. the fix i found is to delete the FancyKeyboard app, so that the system won't try to use it. the keyboard filter still works without the app.

FancyKeyboard is a set of Addons and a Client which allow you to play Audio Files using the Multimedia Keys on iTouch keyboards (amongst others).
Not only that, it is a AudioPlayer which supports Playlists. You can just select files in the tracker, press <shift><play> and the files are appended to the playlist.
It displays a status display whenever a key is pressed, similar to Logitech iTouch Software in windows, but is a much better implementation.
It uses System CODECs, so can play WAV, AU, AIFF and MP3 out-of-the-box, and OGG with the Addons by Dave Burnett.
The only downside is that it features no visible GUI. This could be easily fixed by a third party, because it supports BMessages and Hey Scripting.
