If anyone is interested in bunging up a driver for the Z22 and/or Z32, you can go to www.linuxprinting.org and download sourcecode of reverse engineered information. There's also links to websites that may or may not have additional information.
The driver in question is created to be used with GhostScript (which we have), which would be handy if there was a way of printing with it.

Michaelvoliveira there is one thing you can try that is to get Lexmark to give you the protocol. So that you or a developer could write a driver. Without that it is almost impossible to write the driver. I have triad without succeeding. Also it is other printers in the same price range that is supported under BeOS.

I don't think their are any other Lexmark drivers to BeOS except this one. That?s probably because there isn?t possibly to write drivers for Lexmark. They don't leave out any details. I my self has spoken to Lexmark regarding to write I driver for Lexmark Z- series printers. But they had no interest of a driver on any printer model for BeOS and they also added that they are totally capable to write south drivers without any outside help, if they saw the need for it of course. So the only way to print in BeOS is to kick all the Lexmark printers out the window. Or write a nice mail to all the nice people at Lexmark.

I hate when companies don't write a BeOS driver yet refuse to give out device specification. Geeze..
Good job reverse engineering the drivers. Works fine with my Lexmark 5700. The printing is a little slow, and greatly slows down the OS, but I'm willing to give up some time to print.. It's just a beta.
