I've added a new download location

Hey. Saw there was a need for this file, so I've hosted it on box.net for those who need it. Just choose the 'Alternate Location' link here.

Disclaimer: I in no way vouch for this software, nor do I have anything to do with its development. I just happened to have the file around and used it for a while with a Xircom CreditCard Ethernet Adapter IIps, model PS-CE2-10. I can say only that it worked alright with that card.

bad link

Don't say stuff like that incorrectly. You're HTTP stream is corrupt. The zipfile itself if not. Check your MTU settings, etc. And ensure you download with a non-retarded programme, e.g. not IE or FlashGet.

I've had problems with this in the past, sometimes it comes in OK, but won't open. BeOS has complained of problems with the mime type, so you might be able to fix it with QuickRes. Even if you get it open, I'd say from my luck with it you only have a 50/50 chance of it working, depending on your model.

Dont work....

Redownload. Ensure you're downloading from within BeOS as well.

I'm trying to use this driver with a CEM33. It doesn't seem to support BONE? Is this accurate?

Thanks.

Worked perfectly!

I have a Xircom Realport RE-10 on an old Compaq Presario 1080 running BeOS 5.0.3 (full), and this driver works perfectly. In fact, I am using it to send this post. The included README is clear and concise... anyone should be able to install this driver in a few minutes. Thank you so much for creating this driver, Martin!

Hey guys.

Sorry for the downtime. I don't have an account at that machine anymore, so I now moved it to my own site. Check the download links.

I did stop developing this driver. When somebody does a serious request for a change (ie support of a card which could be supported but is not currently), I might look into it. I have moved to userspace instead, and am coding a really neat BeOS audio player. So don't count me lost yet for the BeOS community :)

I found it on BeShare.
I used it as a template to port the Linux driver for my 3Com megahertz 3c574... (not finished yet).

I'll try to find latest v0.12b version at home, I guess I've it somewhere on a disc.
Too bad the driver author gave up, he sounds really skilled...

It seems to be dead, yes.
Fortunatly, it's still available under Tucows Classic section:
http://os2.tucows.com/beos/preview/145355.html

The bexircom project SourceForge have not reach the same level of usability than the latest version of this driver offer. Not yet.

Mystery solved ??

Looks as if this project moved to Sourceforge, or one very similar. See:
