Works fine in France Telecom's French PPPoe ADSL offer. Here is a french page with screenshots and all needed explaantions :

I did find that logging on using 555-1212 would'nt work. I tried 111.1111 what winpppoet uses still no
luck, tried the service name the raspppoe found from my NIC and using the second ppp protocol it logs on 70 % of the time. web browser works with no probs so far. I think for this early in it's developement its gonna work!!!

Its definately an Alpha release. The readme was accurate in the fact that net_service hung immediately each time. Only connected once, but couldn't prove connection with smtp or http. It is a good start, and I encourge this developer and others to get a full PPPoE working, since it seems the way DSL is going in many areas. Thanks,
