This one calls for more skill & knowledge than I possess. I am but a humble (but curious) "user". I don't recall exactly why it didn't work. It may have been some of the BeOS-specific stuff you mentioned, but then again it could be basic development know-how that I lack.

Please tell me if you were succesful building it. I think the original author changed some things in the latest versions that made the port troublesome.
BTW, I do not remember well now (it's been more than a year after I played with that code), but there are some things you need to do in order to port it on BeOS. Like changing some dirs and stuff. :o

I couldn't find .47 in the "backup" area, but there is a newer (.51) source package available. I will try to build for PPC. Anyone up for building the x86 version?
