s_d: I'm not sure how much the author still uses BeOS, but he seemed open to the idea of extending this app in the future, under OpenBeOS, etc. He provided me with the sources for a (successful) port to PPC, so I believe I have the "latest & greatest" version.
The Datawing PPC version is coming along quite well so far, so once that end of things is solid, it will make more sense to pursue. It is nice to see BeOS becoming a platform where you can do some "real" work. It has taken longer than many had expected or hoped, but it is getting there.
Feature request: It would be nice to be able to point DataPlus at a Gobe Productive (or OpenOffice) spreadsheet. Also, I haven't tried yet, but if the graphs can be drag 'n' dropped into a Gobe presentation, that would be fantastic...

I'm unsure if author still uses BeOS, but he was very responsive, and maybe he made some improvements or has more late version, or can advise you on this topic.

For those that enjoy mathematical analysis, this suite is simply a "must". The download includes good docs and some sample apps/data sets to get you oriented quickly. Now if there was only a way to suck data sets out of Datawing to feed it... ;-)
