Hi there,
I thank you all for using LocaleTracker and for all the bug reports over the last few years.
I'm sorry to say but i decided to stop developing new versions of LocaleTracker. Tracker/Deskbar in ZetaOS are already localized and OpenTracker will be localized in future versions, so there is no need for my support.
But there are also a lot of other reasons why I decided to discontinue developing, most recent and heaviest one is new hardware i'm using today where BeOS and Zeta are not running like BeOS did for the last years on my good old PII-400.
I'm still very interested in the future of OBOS/Zeta... and I hope to be back soon with another project.

Most files I copy from a ntfs-partition to the BeOS-Boot-BFS-Partition will be copied, but the status-window stays along.F.e. if I copy one file, at the end of copying, the status shows file 2/1 (??) and stays there...

The Haru fonts are made for Japanese, so you can't display all TC characters - they are not integrated!
I use Bitstream Cyberbit UNICODE - once it was free available for testing.
You can also use the microsoft UNICODE fonts MingLiu and the free arphic true type fonts for FreeBSD, Linux etc.
Ask google!

Hello !
I'm trying to download a binary of last LocaleTracker version and whatever the link I chose (Zip ou PKG file format) I always obtain the same file size (285,85 Kb) and a corrupted result file.
Could you explain this ? Thanks.
(tried with Opera 3.62 et Firebird 0.6, same thing)

Dear all users:
I am a newbie for BeOS and Locale Tracker. I've a install question about additional language - Traditional Chinese should need additional fonts besides BeOS default support? And, the font should be for unicode?
It just because when I intstall the Locale Tracker and additional language and wanna use Traditional Chinese, but it seems no Traditional Chinese font in BeOS. It can be show by Simple Chinese font, but, there are still something different between TC and SC, so I wanna know how to use Traditional Chinese correctly, Thanks.

If you open About LocaleTracker window and move the window around the screen you'll notice that text which is links is not redraw as it should to be. I think this is URLView bug, but maybe not. Anyway check this please.

Dunno, but it works ok in my Dano. I got a package called "SpLocale_d_x86.pkg.zip" from a russian site (mighty ruskys!) and it works with this one.

Thanks for this latest update! Just a small issue - the LocaleTracker-About says OpenTracker.NewFS 2.50 not 2.60. I believe this was just overlooked.

Well, I was looking for volunteers to create a PPC version of my fresh created Spanish BeOS DE distro(ftp://213.96.206.14) but came to an halt when i saw... NO PPC version of LocaleTracker .... well I be damn !!
Nevertheless I will try to find somebody willing to compile it and test it.

The makefiles contain tests for x86 or PPC. Dependency files for both platforms exist. I have even managed to get some pieces to come together, but I don't know enough about programming or make to finish it off. The good news is that it looks like cross-compiling was intended from the start, and there are PPC developers who can make it work.
