It still has some use. It seems to have been removed from BeBits?

As stated on the Python bebits page:
"zlib module requires zlib"
There's a link to zlib further down on the same page.
Bethon 0.5.1 doesnt have IN.py. Bittorent should only need it if it tries to use a Bethon earlier than 0.5.x.

/lib-dynload/zlib.so was 21.99KB, rather than the netserver builds 65.99KB (truncated?)
/plat-beos5/IN.py was missing.
Taking zlib.so and the whole plat-beos5 folder from the netserver build fixed the issues I saw when running Bittorrent.
Perhaps the author could take a look at these issues?
Cheers,

if I try to run python scripts that use sdist, it fails because os.link is defined although BeOS doesn't support hard links.

| Has anyone tried... |

...building 2.3?
Who has built 2.2.2? Was it a ton of changes or will it not build any longer with the older version of gcc on BeOS?

In fact it is, if it wasnt there wouldnt be an xml module.
As it stands there is an xml module but no xml parser wich, of course,
make the xml module useless.

pyexpat.so is missing making python xml unusable.
For those so inclined you can just compile (not install) the pyxml sources yourselves and copy it's pyexpat.so to "/boot/home/config/lib/python2.2/xml/parsers".
It would also be nice if the installation placed a link to pydoc in "/boot/home/config/bin".

Great work, Donn. Thanks for updating this and including a PPC build. So, where do I send the beer? ;-)
