I personally know Kevin, having worked down the hall from him for over a year. I had the privilege of testing IP Talk before he uploaded it to BeBits, and I must say that the only drawback is needing to know the IP address of the person you want to connect to. It wasn't so bad in the office Intranet. I downloaded Jabber to use with my existing messenger accounts, and as soon as I find someone online with BeOS who has IP talk, we'll swap IP addresses from Jabber and chat with IP Talk. I think it's a great program. And I've seen Kevin's testing of the video capabilities he's planning on adding later. It should be really good. I think if he carries this program to completion, it will be better than MSN, AIM, and Yahoo! all put together! Probably better than ICQ, though I've never used that one. I think it could have great potential in office intranets even now. Employees could communicate internally, but it would be difficult to spend too much time out of the company. So get it!!!
