Please download the latest BeOS binary SDL and SDL_mixer libraries from www.libsdl.org and put the two .so files on your <LGeneral folder>/lib/ directory.
The problem is that no one maintains SDL these days for BeOS, so no one has cleaned up its bugs completely.
The game runs absolutely fine here, but there might be SDL bugs causing it to crash on other machines that SDL does not play well. This error is not a game's crash, but SDL's.

I think this will be a great game, but I am having a problem playing it. The game crashes after I move my first unit. When I run the game from the terminal, I get the following error.
Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)
Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know the fix?

Mikael, if LGeneral does not work for you on BeOS 5, I suggest you download and install the SDLGameLibs as found on BeBits. This package might contain the right libpng.so that I have linked the application against.

It workes when I launh it from terminal, but there is no messages there...
I think its strange, the starts from tracker also...
any ideas?

Please make sure you are running a pure BeOS R5 on 32bit color. No 256-color displays on incompatible BeOS versions like Dano please.

Thank you Eugenia for the port, but I cant load or play?
When it loads it stopes and closes the app, no information provided.
But I havent tested so much, nor reading all the files...
But a big THANK, and to the Author (if you read this.. it lookes really good)

This is a good port of an excellent strategy game. But there is still much to do, and personally I feel ashamed that future versions will be only released for Linuxers. Author's call, anyway.
The test campaign is exceptionally short. Be prepared to be enticed for the game and soon after be cursing the lack of further campaigns.
Well, at last it occupied the strategy nich on Beos, which was empty for long...
