Thankx again Edge for mailing me a copy of this. Ironically I could not even find anything past version .98 on BeShare.

Needless to say I am now hosting the file for the rest of you to enjoy.

Thankx!

First off, I'm not stressing, nor upset, just asking.

I had mailed you though, it was over a year ago, I was the one having control issues with PrBOOM, and we had discussed how nice it would be if BeOS had a nice MOD Tracker program. ;)

Thankx again, I'll mail You from my Starwarslegacy adress.

well you could

I would have just emailed it to you, but you didn't email me ;)

Edge: Is Your Page coming back any time soon?

I wrote you over a year ago about getting a hold of Exult 1.0. At that times You said Your page was going to be back up eventually and to have patience...

...well it's been a long time, and I'd really like to get a hold of this. :)

Any possibility of Your page coming back soon, or if not, would there be any way I could have this e-mailed to me or something?

Thankx!

Please don't post links to illegal copies ("Warez") of the copyrighted software on app pages where I am the developer/submitter/maintainer/holder of the port.

If you want to submit a link or mirror the original package (or your own build), that's fine, but references to illegal "Warez" will just be removed.

Thanks.

The reason the downloads for the apps on my dev account are down, is many fold.

For one thing where they were hosted I don't feel like making him (the uber-generous host provider) pay for the bandwidth - especially being I've not been in contact with in years :( For another I no longer use the o.s. on a regular basis, and therefor obviously this makes it difficult to maintain/support. Yet another is I cannot/do not support any iteration of Zeta or whatever it may be called now; nor can I Haiku/openbeos/walter/whatever until such time it is deployed as stable/complete/v1.0.

FURTHER, such "multiplatform" libraries have been made binary incompatible due to many circumstances I just don't feel like going into ATM. These and other reasons lead to it currently being unavailable for download. Of course I always strived [and delivered] binaries and source to the 'official' maintainers/writers of the progs, including [in some cases] not only patches for BeOS support but also bugfixes that would reach all targetable platforms.

As it is now, currently if a person were to download a pkg of mine that does not include the required libs, in all likelihood they would not be able to run it unless they happened to be a coder or clever power-user and realized they needed an older [binary compatible] version of some specific libs in some cases. Certainly not all my pkg's are affected.

I began to see this occuring later on in my BeOS deployments, the incompatibilities not just between so-called 'improved' libs and vanilla libs - but also between the various versions of R5 distributed modified and being used by various peoples. R5 <-> R5 + Bone exhibited a few bugs and differences easily enough to recognize and workaround, however as I recognized this the trend grew more including 'Dan0' and Zeta; the latter being the worst culprit as one can observe problems between different versions of itself alone (regardless).

SO, that is where we are at today. I don't believe you attempted to email me, or if you did a spam filter intercepted it - because I do try _very_ hard to reply to anyone who actually puts forth the effort to contact me (sadly this number is not so great LOL). This may take some time for me to do [obviously].

I'm not flaming anyone or starting something like that, just telling it like it is so that you know why the situation as it reflects upon myself is as it is at this point. If you email me maybe we can work something out.

Not to be a pain, but it's been at least a year since I was last asking for this, and the links are still dead.
I tried to Exult page, but they only have .98rc1.

I'd still like to get my hands on v 1.0, I've been trhing the links for months now and the sites are still not up.

Are there any other mirrors anywhere? No one on BeShare seems to have 1.0 either last I was on.

Thanks!

Thanks Eugenia for handing the page over to me, so I can post updates :)
The sf.net site is not releasing new BeOS binaries, so I felt it was necessary to do so hehe...

I'd just like to apologize for the idiot who posted before me. I think that what you guys are working on is fantastic and deserves more than the cursory glance from the nearly illiterate. Keep up the good work, and we (those of us that can both operate a computer and think coherently at the same time) eagerly await the completion of your endeavor.
