Does PecoBeat work on Zeta? Anyone tried it? I am having trouble on PhOS, and apparently Dano users also have reported issues with it.

Why, oh, why . . .

do you, PecoBeat, exist?
so that I may have a companion for my lonely guitar . . . .
Why oh why, do I refuse, PecoBeat,
to waste my time searching for a freeware drum machine,
on my Windows OS? because I have you . . . .
and you, with all your pretty colors too!

Where, oh, where are you Mr. Freytag? do you not develop anymore? Thank you for your musicmaker, this PecoBeat is my friend :)

If anybody needs really bad poetry written, I am elsewhere, hiding in shame

Beautiful use of BeOS and an example of fantastic UI design!

This is a beautiful and functional application. I never really got around to trying it out until recently and I must praise the developer for the fantastic design. It looks great and it works just as well. An example for other developers to follow!

I would love to see this application offer the user the option of loading and using his/her own samples instead of using the built in MIDI Synth of BeOS (which has less than wonderful samples).

Thanks for releasing the source code. I hope someone does something good with it.

Cheers!

It gets shaky under Dano

I agree with Micke, i'll love to save to wav at last.
Again: the instruments window gets tends to follow the beat (it doesn't stop vibrating!!!)

Sorry for my poor english ;)

Great Drummer!

This software is the best and I think the only beat sequencer for BeOS. The look and everything is better then those big sequencer software for windows that you often have to pay for. The only thing I miss is a feature to save the songs to maybe Wave or Mp3 format.

its cool to play with
