This is supposedly our star system up above, but how do I know it is correct? I don't beleive all the goverment scientist that force feed this false view of the sky. The earth is flat, and so is the WHOLE galaxy flat, on the same plane as the earth. It is all an illusion, humans are just dust mites on an ape's back.

2500+ FPS but no display. I get a garbled while & black display with messy stats about longitude & latitude & FPS that sorta stuff but no stars. I use pgk maker to unpack it & put it there I want but that might be part of the problem ;) is it hard wired to NEED to be some where for things? I sorta doubt that as there are no extra directories with images or other files that it's not seeing to load the stars but I could be totaly wrong. (VERY TIRED) off to bed...

Very nifty, I like it so far! :)
My one suggestion would be to have the installer put the app in /boot/apps/, NOT /boot/SanvilleStars/ Apps go in /boot/apps, don't clutter up /boot please! (It's like installing in C:\ instead of C:\Program Files\ on Windows... it just makes for a big mess.)
Looking forward to newer versions of this, I love little interactive toys :)

I like this app especially because of the unique zoom in/out feature!
Some suggestions/incongruencies if you don't mind....
-Sirius should be alot brighter :P
-Colour (like for stars, according to their spectral class, G2, A0 etc) would be excellent
-A Chart with the *full* sky northern and southern would rock!
-This chart should be mouse navigable
-The Number of stars/Co-ordinates text should be on a separate region, i.e. not on the star screen and should be drawn into a view in a BBitmap so it doesn't flicker
-and clean up the whitespace it looks terrible :P
-Oh, and make the main star view either use view in a BBitmap or DirectWindow (see the Chart source code for this)
Otherwise, very nice!
