Allegro is multiplatform by nature; most people who use it code with it while under Windows and Linux. But porting apps is trivial most of the times... There are a lot of games done with Allegro; you can find them (many times with source code) on www.allegro.cc. If you want to see more of them on BeOS, ask the authors for a quick port, or ask them for the sources and recompile yourself!
By the way, it would be nice to hear some voices from the BeOS Allegro users on the forums of www.allegro.cc... Come on, you're always welcome!

this game, if I'm not mistaken, uses allegro for BeOS.

..but did anyone out there even develop anything useful under BeOS, with Allegro? I am using it only under dos (djgpp, actually) from time to time. Rathe powerful, but the 4.0.1 that I had wasn't documented well.
