Vision really is starting to mature! - It's brilliant!
Any chance of a scripting interface similar to that of Baxter? (whereby any scripting language can be used)

|
| I must agree here |

Its really easy to use!
Actually it's the first ICQ Client I tried, and I needed some time to configure it (Server names)
So it would be good, if there would be a Default Server List, or something like that!
Anyway, it rocks!

Been using Vision for quite a while. Unfortunately for me I don't use BeOS too often, but every time I boot into Be, I update my version. It keeps getting better and better! Now if I could only code - I'd port this over to Linux. That would rock something fierce!
Keep up the great work guys!

Thank you very much. I was expecting something like a special window for it, so I did not pay attention to the autoexec.
Thank you.

Just add it to the autoexec for that network, it's in the network prefs.

I like Vision best than many others, but I would like to make a suggestion. Could Vision have some kind of autoidentify service?. It would be like some automatic mechanism which would be able to send a message to nick@deep.space as soon as it connects, sending the code to register that you provide.

Use that hack if you want, but I won't accept any bug reports given with a modified version.

International charset approach isn't planned for the moment ; the IRC protocol standard specifies ISO8859-1, and as such certain issues arise when using others that I don't currently have the time to deal with.

Hi,
until very recently I used Bowser, which I thought was by far the best IRC client for BeOS. I fixed it up to automatically accept DCC sends, though I admit I never cared to publish my version. Vision is quite nice, the single window interface has got something to it. However, even though I have the setting "Autoaccept Downloads" checked on, it still asks me if I want to resume a file! What the ****!! Obviously I don't want to be bothered with alerts, probably because I'm not even in front of the machine. I just want to return next morning and find my download finished. If I screwed up and Vision completed the wrong file (though the names were the same), then I can live with that. Much less annoying then to find a whole bunch of "Do you want to resume?" alerts on the screen. Please do not make a separate setting. If I have "Autoaccept Downloads" checked on, I don't want to confirm a Resume either. Vision should go ahead and do it.
Thanks for an otherwise great client,
-stippi

That icon reminds me of Thexder or one of those other Japanese arcade games with tiled mechana graphics. Cool!
