The first open source Rage Theatre 200 source was released on Gatos last week. Having a look at it right now. :) It doesn't have the required microcode released yet. So us mere mortals can't actually use it yet.

This is now part of Thomas Kurshel's Radeon driver. Source code is also there.
This entry has special purpose though - it works with old Be's Radeon drivers

Updates?

Does anyone have the sourcecode to this and intend to update it?
I have a 9800SE AIW with the TV tuner sitting around being idle and would really like to use it.

Any updates on this one?

Right now it doesn't work well with Thomas Radeon driver. And I don't know how well newer Radeons work with it. PAL support for Video In ( not Tuner) exists in a development version.

My time has been somewhat limited is a bit limited but if there are any experienced driver developers who think they can help and have access to a Radeon ViVo or AIW they can contact me for more info.

I'm thinking of buying a Radeon 9000 with ViVo (http://www.sapphiretech.com/vga/9000.asp)

Is there any way I can use the video-in under BeOS? will this old driver to the trick?

Prog.

Okay, now we have a legal Radeon driver with Overlay support! Meaning, I am now gonna push forward for Overlay support in the Radeon In driver.

I was in frequent dialog with the author many moons ago.. time to stat it up again ;-)

If it is, I wouldn't mind obtaining the source-code. I don't want to reinvent the wheel.
