You could write a small script to do that. But it will probably be easier if you use a frontend like pickleLauncher (http://www.bebits.com/app/3519).

Icon on desktop?

Hmm..okay, thanks - it worked :D Great classic, but how can I get it to start without writing stuff in the terminal? Maybe it could start just by clicking at an icon on the desktop?

Installation

Just unzip the file - to your Desktop for example.
Then open up a Terminal and use cd to change to the directory where you unzipped it (like "cd /boot/home/Desktop/Wolf3d").
From there you can run the main binary (in this case sdlwolf3d) by just typing in the name "sdlwolf3d" and hitting enter.

You are right. But since this was the first BeOS port,
I tought it was better this way, so anyone can report
more info in case of crashes.

Yay!

Thanks for the port, this game sure brings back memories... and I surprised myself, after a minute or two of playing I started to remember the levels, I knew where the bad guys and secrets were, etc... all those years, the memory is still there :)

One suggestion, before you package this up into the .zip file, run "strip" against the sdlwolf3d binary file, or pick the "strip all symbols" setting in BeIDE if you're building with that; the size of the binary goes from 900k+ to about 220k. No need for all of that debugging info in the binary for regular play...

Jeeezzz I waited a long time to see this ported to BeOS. A good port too, although I wouldn't mind to be able to play it in fullscreen mode...
