The PPC version builds easily & without modification. It is both faster & smoother than the previous version. Nice job!

Yes, the SGI one uses anti-aliased lines for drawing the colored edges, and the basic BView doesn't know how to do AA lines; getting it to look the same would mean re-writing the rendering stuff in OpenGL (not too hard I suppose), or writing my own AA line routine (heh, NOT :) )
The SGI one also bounces off of edges that are beyond the borders of the screen, but I thought it looked just fine bouncing from the screen edges... :)

ah, ok, I just tried it. Well, it is an "ok" screensaver but it is not exactly like the SGI one. The SGI one is very impressive... ;-)

Haven't try it yet, but I have seen the original one in my (loaned) SGI box, and it is really nice. :)
