I have used it for about 2 hours now, and as opposed to cifsmount, it just works! Cifsmount used to break every so often and applications using the mount would randomly crash. With CIFS-Mounter, neither of this has happend so far - which is a great improvement.
Any chance of it being open-sourced?

The only thing missing would be an option to automatically retrieve the names of shares on the chosen host (ala Windows Network Neighborhood or OS X Connect to Server panel)

This is excellent. Takes all the pain out of mounting Windows drives/shares under BeOS.

By the way: you should activate the Show Shared Volumes on Desktop in the Tracker-Settings, since the mountpoint is in /mount.
