It could use a bit more in the "eye candy" department, but I like that it makes editing a large collection of people files a breeze.
I had no real trouble building this app for PPC, thanks to Nathan Whitehorn & his suggestion concerning namespace strangeness.
To the graphically-inclined among us: This app could use a cool icon (there was no rsrc file in the source archive). Can someone make a modification of the orginal People icon that has them smoking & drinking?

I have some suggestions:
1. can You make it run default email client, and not only BeMail?
2. it would be really kewl if peeps could add/delete attributes dynamically. That way i could add for example "UIN", "WWW" etc.. or whatever else i want. (Peeps should add textfields for each attribute found in ppl file)
3. after (2) it would be good to have "settings" option where i could add attributes types and which app they should run after double click :)
4. after all things are added to Peeps make it look nicer. Well.. it doesn't look bad, it's readable (and that's most important), but when i first saw it i thought something crashed or maybe some background image wasn't loaded :)
I know that my suggestions require probably the same amount of work as You did for now, so plz make at last (1) :))

try the 0.8 : People w/o group is shown badly (strange caracters in several boxes)....
If i suppress them, the left list feels better...
btw in both case, showing a person shows bad caracters in box where no information have been set.
