Indeed marcone, Soundplay has been capable to do this for ages, and as most BeOS/ZETA users have Soundplay already installed, they should simply just skip EggsControl.

If downloading this app fails, you can always use SoundPlay: it's been able to play multiple files at the same time since 1996.

Eggscontrol.. Man, what a wonderful app! Sorry folks, but I really enjoy like playing 15 Beavis-and-Butthead audioclips at one time - or similar. And the great thing is: it's all done on BeOS, the OS that still rocks!

If ther were a way to also interface it with sound recorder with the above mentioned master control to allow recording along with the tracks playing back...now that would REALLY ROCK!!!

What this app lacks in my opinion is a master control that would allow you to launch the selected files simultaneously,the master transport control would make it much more usable for mixing applications,to synchronize the output.
keep up the good work! new audio apps are always welcome in BeOS!
