natenate if you want to re-release the BONE version, i'll gladly download it.
i think the errors i had were to do with some special environment settings i have which i use to compile things like Snort and co, so i might be able to just unset them and try again....but i really didnt spend too much time on it as i just wanted to see if it compiled straight out of the box....which it did....but when i ran it i got the familiar error in an alert box...
it will be something minor i am sure.

I used to compile and post zsh here on BeBits (accidently posted a binary I compiled on a BONE system, didn't have any previous builds or access to a vanilla R5 install, so took it down). Anyway, I did nothing special to get it to compile on vanilla R5 and BONE. The last build I did was, IIRC, 4.0.2 -- no problems at all.
