I might do a GTK+ version 2.0 port some day, I did this one to see if there was any interest in porting X11 programs to BeOS.
I haven't seen much interest in this though, so I think a GTK+ 2.0 port might just be waste of time.
BTW, the homepage referred to in the previous talkback comment points to the homepage for the experimental port of GTK to the native BeOS GUI, mine is the X11 version ported to BeOS. Just to let you know :)

It would really Be nice to have another API that supports BiDi, in addition to Mozilla.
The same goes for QT - the BeOS version is 2.3.0, but the current QT version is 3.1.1 (and it provides BiDi, unlike 2.x releases).

PS.
the home page for the BeOS port of GTK is www.gtk.org/beos

i downloaded this and your glibc and compiled up a gtk app (originally written for gtk linux) that i have here and once i sorted out the beos specific networking stuff it compiled no problems :)
so i fired up Xbeos, then my X windows manager and ran the app.....beautiful !!! It performs exactly the it does under Linux. Sweet.
fantastic stuff.
