restarting the application seems to have resolved the localization issue I had. Now that I can read it, it looks like a good start.. A hierarchical view would be nice -- eg groups in leftmost column that expand in the center column by clicking a group name, and right click in column to add new or edit an existing.
Use People files, and i think it will be neat (People always needed more/better interfaces IMO)

selecting Anglais as the language does not appear to change anything. Question -- Is this still using the People file so that bemail, etc can still acces the contact list? I like the look of the interface (and adding pictures is a _great idea_!!, but I stil want to use all my People info as a shared resource between all my Apps.
