I appreciate the smaller size that's now available. The original size is actually too big to fit completely on an 800x600 screen (which is what I use most of the time). But why not make the window adjustable? Then the user can make it any size he/she wants to.

Agree with Jess, don't clutter /boot/home/

This is a nifty app, I have been looking for a nice lightweight address book program like this :)

I would suggest moving the config file ("dates.abook") to somewhere other than /boot/home/ though, as that's not a good place to clutter things. /boot/home/config/settings/ is where configuration info belongs on BeOS :) In the very least, if you *must* store the config file in /boot/home/, rename it to .dates.abook so that it's hidden for most command-line stuffs...

Thanks for the cool software :)

Hmm, the funniest is I even got the sources already...
Looks like I forgot that one, I only remembered it didn't work and was dead... and never thought of checking SF.net, thx for the tip :)

mmu-man - there's an apparently dead project on sourceforge that was a port of the Korganizer to Be. It starts to run on my machine, and then dies. GPL - so you outght be able to fork it and start it up again

I notice it saves the dates in the home dir... Please don't clutter our home dir... Also I can add a date/event but it wont display it on the calendar. Other wise keep plugg'n it will come along nice.

cool but can it scream?

Looks nice :)

What about adding other views (month, day, ..) ?
What format does it use to save dates ?

Btw I've always been waiting for a (possibly opensource) Korganiser/GnomeCal-like PIM program under BeOS that would use vCalendar & vCard as the native format... http://www.imc.org/pdi/ those are internet standards, so that's way better when trying to interoperate/share the calendar between Linux and BeOS (imagine putting the pim data on a Linux server, for ex).
