Why have this for download here at all?

Why have separate download locations for Intel and PPC?

Why have separate download locations for Intel and PPC?

i actually thought it was going to be a video of him using the apps but when i saw it was an mp3, i stopped downloading it.

thought the apps themselves would be useful too ;)

i agree this shouldn't be listed here; however, no one is going to shut down bebits over this. if anything, i'm sure jarre appreciates the extra attention.

sometimes the people in this community are like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs.

Bebits is not a music bootlegging site.

In spite of how great this is, and in spite of how much respect I have for Jarre, I also vote to delete this. Bebits is about files that contribute to the use of BeOS, as in things you install to enhance its functionality, and not serving as a site for distributing bootlegged music.

If you want to kill Bebits, this is a great first blow.

heh..

Wouldn't that be more illegal? =)

I dont belive recorded concerts are illegal, only to sell.

Jarre is Old , BeOS is new...

I have had Jarre LPs since the 70s.
Now I prefer I.D.M. , music has evolved and changed a lot.
I was expecting a BeOS App , but the mp3 is OK an recent.
Nice Bootleg for Collectors, but ilegal...
PLZ take it out and replace with a Package of the Be Apps that Jarre uses live in concert, Zipped in a single JarreApp file.
That will be a usefull archive for Bebits.

I'm voting to delete this listing...

Why? Because:

1.) We're not sure if Jarre himself has allowed his work to be posted here.

2.) BeBits is about software, and BeOS software to be exact.

3.) This sets a bad precedant. Stop it now, before others get some hair brained idea to try this too, and get BeBits in trouble.

Peace out.

Wtf...

I love Jarre, but I agree with Jess 100% on this one. This isn't software, its also large. 150mb. A considerable amount of space when you're running a webserver. Save this stuff for BeShare please.

huh

THis looks like a rush job, but why have separate listings for PPC and x86? Loops, and music are not platform-based, unless it's M$, but it's an MP3. Slow down!

Hmm since when....

Since when does an mp3 qualify for BeOS software? What am I missing? Great to know BeOS is benig used live but still this is a post for the forums not bebits.
