Yes a tutorial how to use MeTos together with BeIde would be very helpful. Also how to insert some code after the MeTos codes where created.
Thx in advance this is a very good idea.

Congratulations! This is a great application. The right tool for rapid designing and prototyping applications.
Is there any interest for MeTOS german languages files?
I did translate all menu texts. If there is, please tell me where to post them.
In my view, it currently lacks only a few things. A FileDialog would be nice for Drag and Dropping. Would save a lot of time.
What do you think of a UserControl? Everyone could design his own elements and hand it over to the community. So all MeTOS-Lovers could help you to extend the functionality.
If you could post me your sources, maybe i can contribute to your project.
I am also planning to write a tutorial in german, targeted at bloody beginners, which could be published here or elsewhere. In my view, some beginners sometimes have a problem to run the designed MeTOS application within the BeIDE. I could explain that, step by step. What do you think?

Cannot find your tip about making a template file for C++ and BeIde I have to copy the c++ projekt-file with all the needed libs to config/settings/tracker/templates isnt it. and what file name I should use?
After that I can open my C++ Template anywhere inside the folders with right-click and choos "new" c++-Template...

MeTOS works fine now. I tested it with a simple app and it worked just fine. Good job! And I wish to see it evolve into something fully usuable soon

If you get problems to run new release, backup the old and the settings of the old
( locate in /boot/home/config/settings/MeTOS )
after this install the new v0.2.0 Dev and try, not delete the settings, just backup them.
For the libnetapi, i think it come because i'm using BONE on R5.0.3 and i can't compile for net_server, i dont have it. If you have net_server (BeOS R5.0.3 without Bone) contact me i will send for you the updater source-code and you can compile it for you and me to include on bebits.

This is a system library. So, you should have it on your system (unless you use some unofficial BeOS "distro").

I tried to remove all metos settings in home/config/settings/metos but it still dont work.
I tried the updater too but it won´t work cause the libnetapi.so file is not found. Where can i get this file?

I have waited too, long for an update from you, because i love this app. I use BeOs 5.03 (MAX ed.).
Version 1.8 worked fine. But after trying the new Version i could not start the app. It will crash all time.
So, Vincent have i delete the old ver 1.8 or must I look for all the metos files in my home/config/lib, and delete them in order to make ver 2 work?

Due to a bug into script, folder and exe are unziped into /home folder, to correct this, delete alls metos file could be present into /home folder.
download the package, install and after this upgrade, at this time the script is correct.

Do you have installed before an older version ?
if yes, when you start the pkg file answer yes for rewriten settings files.

I tried to use it, and the first time, the second time, the third time, the .... time, each time, it crashed, and I never got code generated at all, even trying to follow the directions on how to do it.
I can't comment on how good or bad the code generation is: I can never get that far! :) (maybe it's the result of too many global variables making it hard to control - I looked at the code!)
It's good that it has an open API and system for add-ons in terms of support for more views being made available to others.

I work on new code about multi-langage support for code generation (i think BePascal) and that's why i don't post new binary, the modification i make, change some other things into object addons etc ...

Hi,
If you have no prototype (constructor i think), see in function list when you select a RadioButton you must have a constructor checked ! if not, check it and use the right mouse button to save the checked functions for default settings, after this close MeTOS, restart and create a new project, app,window view and RadioButton !
In this new project your RadioButton must have a constructor selected !

The program still isn't generating prototypes for BRadioButton objects. Until that's fixed, it's fairly useless.

MeTOS don't save the parameter: _name CSTR
And you seam to have a bug that won't let one add as many BMenu:s as one would like(One boader was two BMenu-objects and one boader was three BMenu-objects).

There is a problems with MeTOS that makes it almos unusable for me. Lets supose I create a Window, add a BBox to it and want to add stuff inside the BBox. I can't. When I select the BBox all add-ons become red and I can't add any of them.
