As this is an application I was trying to set it up in my applications file, not knowing it needed to be run from the config file. (I'm use to Be-apps that can be run from anywhere!
Anyway now working, so hopefully I can use it for Bibtex.

Hum??
doc/jed/INSTALL.be is a compile-time instruction.
How to install this binary:
1. Download three zip file(jed,slang,libdl)
2. libdl is a BeOS-pkg.
1. double-click
2. click Begin
3. click Continue
3. jed and slang is a simple zip file.
1. double-click(Expand-O-Matic is summoned)
2. set Destination to /boot/home/config
3. click Expand
4. FINISHED
5. Enjoy jed text editor.

Hi Yasuo, could you give me some advice on how to set this up as the included readme is a little sparse. I am using R5+BONE 7a on AMD AthlonXP with 524MB RAM

The Bebits deadlink curse strikes again. The R5 link for the slang lib on the Onion Software page is dead. I would be most greatful if the author could make it available once more.
