I was hoping there was something like DOpus for Be.
To bad the author seems to have jumped ship. :/

I just tested out this program for x86, and although serverly limited on what can be done by default, it shows all the promise of its Amiga namesake.
Please please please, keep this project going. I used Opus4.12 and Magellen on the amiga for many years and it is one of the things on BeOS that I miss. OpenTracker is ok for day to day use, but Opus is THE filemanager, nothing else compares to Opus, not a single thing.
I'd hope that the author gets back into the saddle on this one as BeOS desperately needs this sort of app, and BeCommander just doesn't cut it....

What a great start!
For those who have never used Opus... we need this.

This is a promising start indeed. I have always been a big fan of BeCommander, but since this app is no longer being updated, I guess it's time to move on, and Opus Pro may just be it.
In short, I would welcome a professional file manager, with WinCommander (now TotalCommander) being my yardstick in terms of functionality and ease of use.
Keep it coming and well done so far.

i haven't tried it yet, but it would be useful, its similar to Midnight Commander... I use that utility all the time on my linux installation.

Looks absolutely familiar, like the trusted filemanager for Amiga, way back when. Although I like to see good ideas carried on, for me personally Tracker provides all the functionality I need on the filemanaging level. If I ever need more, the Terminal is an Alt-Esc away (thx to SpicyKeys).
Sorry to be negative on this one. Perhaps you can direct your coding effort to another Be project?
E.
